AkelixE Will Return March 24th, 2029
Okay, so technically the pandemic has made its course for some time now, yet the derailment it had on my audio ventures lingered longer than I anticipated.
2024 has been a year where I've slowly been re-building my audio setup. Aside from my trusty Dell from over a decade ago, everything else has either been sold off or became obsolete.
I'm hopeful though. I've invested in my PC, upgrading parts I felt would add QoL improvements to my workflow. Also threw in some gear to replace what was let go a couple years prior. Now all that's left is for me to clean up my PC, re-installing software so I can pick where I left off.
So when will I start posting again? Not sure. I'm striving for sometime this year. Whenever that happens, first place you'll see it will be on my instagram. If you care to keep tabs on me, give me a follow @ https://www.instagram.com/unusetsolus_akelixe/
I really dropped the ball on switching over my domain to another provider. I moved away from using Godaddy and never got around to setting up this site with the new company.
There really isn't anything else to really report on. I'm still on hiatus from music, although Segasaturnsnk pressed for me to make a Bandcamp page. The page is dead empty, but I hope the summer break coming up will free up some time to create something new. Assuming Acid Pro will let me.
This is one of those finds that make me wonder if it's even worth jumping on the e-protest train. This bit shoot website markets itself as a you tub alternative that promotes freedom of expression over the political correctness that makes the big money advertiser's panties wet. I'd be lying if I said that the idea of being flagged didn't influence what I uploaded on the yoo toobs.
I've seen alternative start-up sites come and go throughout the years and each time I discovered a new one, I would be quick to sign up and upload some of my content. The exposure you get on some of these tight-knit communities is way more organic and fruitful than what you would find on major platform social media sites. That is until the owners let their site go down the shitter.
Call me an abused stray, but I've seen similar sites sell out to bigger companies, run out of money to fund operational costs, and their owners simply moving on to different ventures in life. It makes me skeptical if BC will stick around for the long term or if YT's grip on video creators will make it difficult for BC to gain its footing.
I'm rooting for it though. I feel as though the internet has become lifeless with the lack of innovation and competition. Good luck BC.
I synced up the akelixe.com domain to this site.
Everything seems to be working so far.
SebastiAn of Ed Banger Records just dropped a new track today.
This one's different. The drums are very subtle. He really is departing further away from those hard electro tracks from 10 years ago. This might be more of an art statement than a club banger. Either way, it's good to see that SebastiAn is still alive!
Through the power of google, I now have a website once more.
This site will act as a hub to point to other websites with my content hosted.
I'm cheap. Gotta spread the love across many different free services.
Here's a screenshot of me trolling on Playfire to keep you busy. ->
